Most holidays, I find myself in the greeting card aisle, picking through what’s left of the inventory. Every Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Easter Sunday, it never fails. I wait until the last minute to hunt for an insanely priced piece of folded cardstock. And it’s slim pickins. There are always plenty of those over-the-top God Squad cards leftover from another decade, but that’s not my thing. The only “Humor” selections left should be reclassified as “Cheesy,” by this late date.
