I grew up biking down the streets of Holgate and loving the small, quiet, safe surfers paradise end of the Island I have called home for the 18 years of my life. The past few years I’ve watched this beloved area being changed negatively. It went from a rich vegetation/wildlife-filled small beach enclave to an overpopulated one cramped with huge houses on small properties.
