Beginning in June, hundreds of homeowners on the north end of Long Beach Island will have to get accustomed to a new person delivering the mail. On Friday, May 31, Tom Logue will call it a career with the Long Beach Township Post Office after 38 years of service.
When he began his first day on the job as a 24-year-old, he found it a little tough going. He had replaced Ken Marut, who had been a fixture.
