It was with a heavy heart that I read of the passing of your long-time staff member, Maria Scandale. I never had the opportunity to meet her, but have read her byline for years and years, and as someone whose name has also appeared as one of your bylines on occasion, I can’t help but feel we were kindred as scribes in some small way. No doubt she was a much loved member of the The SandPaper family, and for your loss and her actual family’s, I am equally saddened.
