To the Editor:
I applaud Karen E. Tait’s letter (“Reconsider Removal,” 3/10) in reply to the March 3 issue’s “Condo Development Ordered to Remove Islands.” There is no doubt that these nine little green islands in a sea of asphalt paving add to the charm and beauty of our fair city. What is just as important, however, is their contribution to the ever-increasing need to find ways to enhance “green” infrastructure in our communities.
