His eyes watery and voice shaky, Chief Randy Townsend could barely get out the words to define what his Harvey Cedars Beach Patrol had just accomplished.
“I’m so beside myself right now. It’s just so insane!” he said, the emotion of the moment overwhelming him as his squad celebrated a short distance away. “It’s absolutely amazing!”
