After serving in acting capacity for near 18 months, Christine Lisiewski was appointed municipal clerk of Harvey Cedars at the Monday, Dec. 15 Board of Commissioners meeting.

Mayor John Imperiale noted that an acting clerk has up to three years to complete the required classes, pass the five tests and the state examination required to be a registered municipal clerk.

“The dedication that Christine showed in achieving this goal so quickly is really extraordinary,” he said.
