Hartney Raises Traffic Impact Concerns as Causeway Project Resumes

With the new year come new questions about the impact of the final phase of the multi-year Causeway project, this time in Surf City.

After the Jan. 3 borough council meeting, Councilman Peter Hartney questioned the impact the federally funded project will have on northbound traffic coming into the borough from Ship Bottom once Central Avenue is converted from a one-way roadway to a north-south roadway, asking, “What is their plan?”
