Surf City is getting ready to run a little wild this Halloween! The inaugural LBI Halloween Hustle 5K takes off Sunday, Oct. 25 at 8:30 a.m., starting and finishing on the 100 block of North Seventh Street near the Surf City Firehouse.
The fast, flat course welcomes seasoned runners, first-timers and walkers. Costumes are encouraged, with a contest adding extra flair to the festivities. After the 5K awards, little monsters – and runners of all ages – can join a short dash, expected to start around 9:45 a.m. Every participant gets a ribbon.
