To the Editor:
A few months back I wrote a letter to The SandPaper reminding people we have a VFW post on the Island and that visitors were invited. The response has been extremely gratifying.
We’ve welcomed many new guests and made a lot of new friends. Many of the newcomers came in for one beer to see the place and soon became “regulars.” Sunday has been our best day with our four TVs tuned to NFL football and food available.
