To the Editor:
My family has vacationed on Long Beach Island for years and even as the old beach cottages have given way to larger, more modern homes, the feel of LBI remains the same. Crossing the 3-mile-long Causeway Bridge has always felt the same, with the challenges on the mainland giving way to the prospect of sand and surf, and a quiet and relaxing family-oriented atmosphere that offers plenty to do off the beach in the various towns on the Island.
In an age of wokism and seemingly anti-American rhetoric, it is refreshing to see some LBI traditions remain the same.
