Coffee and pastry lovers feel energized now that GNM Coffee Shop has opened in the same sunny building where a previous shop enjoyed a successful run at 237 South Main St. in Barnegat. For several months, customers went without their fix of treats at that landscaped haven, but the site did not sit empty for long.
The new owners say it was a lack of specialty coffee shops in town and in the immediate area that prompted them to give the business a go, together.
