To the Editor:
I’m not a fan of Congressman Jeff Van Drew, but I give credit where credit is due. His vote for the infrastructure bill was not only the right thing to do for New Jersey, it was the right thing to do for the nation. I’ll be happy to bear the title of left-wing nut job if it means I can drink water free of lead, drive a road without bending a rim in a pothole or cross a bridge that doesn’t have corroded girders.
People seem to forget that every generation is supposed to pay forward for the benefit of the generations that follow.
