It was something like a mere week ago that I was hailing the start of the LBI’s summer season. Now, here I am bidding it a fond adieu, adios, bon voyage, arrivederci, sayonara, auf wiedersehen and happy trails. I guess I should have gotten out of the office more. Oh, well, here’s to fully embracing autumn, which begins next week for meteorologists. The National Weather Service’s fall runs from Sept. 1 to Nov. 30.
