To the Editor:
I recently was directed to the opinion section of your newspaper for a letter regarding a flag that was being flown on the beach (“Free Speech?”). I was a member of that group and I just wanted to clarify what actually occurred on that day.
As a lifelong member of the Ship Bottom community, spending as many summers as I can remember in the 32 years I’ve been alive, I feel that it is necessary to clear up a misconception of the opinion presented in the letter.
