To the Editor:
I came across a group of beachgoers in the area of 16th Street in Ship Bottom. They were displaying what I considered an offensive flag that read “Joe Biden S__s.” My comment to them was “Free speech?” to which they responded “Yes.” I went on to say, “Vulgar as it may be, he’s in the White House and your guy is a loser.”
As I calmly walked away, the question from a member of the display group was “What has he done for you?” I took “he” to mean President Biden. Regrettably I chose not to respond.
