Teachers are invited to attend a free educator workshop hosted by the Long Beach Township Field Station for Marine Education and Research, in Holgate, on Monday, Aug. 24. The event – called “Coast to Classroom” – will run from 10 a.m. to noon.
“The event will focus on the unique ecosystems of Long Beach Island and the surrounding region,” said the facility’s Juliana Perello.
