About a month ago, Frank Molinaro sat on a sofa and read every bit of the cards and notes he had received from youngsters at Stafford Township’s McKinley Elementary School. The drawings and messages even may have invoked memories of when he was a young boy who dreamed of becoming an Olympian, standing atop the medal stand while the United States national anthem blared through the arena speakers.

“I read every single one of them,” said the former Southern Regional High School and Penn State wrestler from Barnegat.
