Going into this season, former Southern Regional High School wrestling standout Frank Molinaro had earned just about every honor a college wrester could obtain.
“The Tank,” as he was nicknamed early in a high school career that would see him capture three individual New Jersey state championships between 2005 and 2007, had earned coveted All-American status — meaning he finished in the top eight nationally in his weight class – three times while wrestling for Penn State.
