Last season, former Southern Regional football standout Mike Gesicki had a breakthrough junior season at Penn State, setting several single-season records as a tight end. Last week, Gesicki was selected as the top tight end in the country when the 51 members of The Associated Press Top-25 media panel named him to its Preseason All-American first team.
