During Week 5 of the NFL season back on Oct. 7, former Southern Regional football players Clark Harris and Mike Gesicki played on the same field for the first time. Of course, given their respective positions, the two didn’t line up opposite each other during the contest. Still, it was a great day to be a Southern fan.
As for the season thus far, the Southern faithful have had plenty of reasons to cheer on the NFL veteran and rookie.
