Extreme Gymnastics recently added five individual state champions at the Jersey Optional Gymnastics Association Level 1-4 State Championships, as well as scoring among the top seven with a pair of teams.
The Gymdawgs’ Level-4 squad placed fifth with a score of 100.050, while the Level-2 crew grabbed the seventh spot with a score of 102.325.
Individually, Ashley Hemenway and Autumn Shackleton topped the podium twice at Level 3, as Hemenway won the floor exercise state crown and Shackleton grabbed the top spot for the balance beam. The Extreme duo also shared the all-around championship, each scoring 33.5.
