To the Editor:
I fish both on the surf and from a boat, and I want to be sure I understand the latest fishing regulations.
Fluke: A fluke may be kept if it is between 17 and 18 inches. If it’s over 96½ inches, it should be sent to the Smithsonian Institution. If it’s white on the wrong side, it should be turned over. If it’s over 100 years old, it should have a birthday party.
