Santa Claus may have a sleigh full of toys, but he can always use a little help from his friends. Surf City Volunteer Fire and EMS is once again rallying the community for its annual Toys for Tots drive, inviting neighbors to help make the holidays brighter for local children.

The department has launched its annual Toys for Tots drive, with collection boxes available from Nov. 2 through Dec. 2. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at participating businesses and community locations across the area. Surf City Fire and EMS also provides EMS service to Ship Bottom.

Last year, local residents and merchants donated more than 2,000 toys, helping bring holiday joy to children in need. Organizers hope the community can make an even bigger impact this year. Every donation, large or small, can help brighten a child’s holiday.

Collection boxes are available at Beach Waves Salon in Ship Bottom, Black Eyed Susan’s Florist in Barnegat, Burger 25 in Ship Bottom, Flour Child Pizza in Brighton Beach, How Ya Brewin in Surf City, LBI Pancake House and LBI Table in Ship Bottom, the Ocean County Library branch in Surf City, Pyour Core in Ship Bottom, Red Sails Salon and Scojo’s in Surf City, Sets Gym in Barnegat, Ship Bottom Firehouse, Surf City Barber Shop, Surf City Borough Hall, Surf City Firehouse, Surf City Pizza, Tuckerton Lumber and Wally’s in Surf City, and Yoga Bohemia in Ship Bottom.

The drive is made possible by participating merchants, generous residents and everyone who helps collect and deliver donations. Community members are encouraged to contribute and help make this year’s campaign the most successful yet.
