To the Editor:
The Beach Haven guards at Leeward Avenue beach rescued a young man at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17. With the incoming tide and rough surf, a group of four young men were whistled in from the sandbar. Three made it and one was pulled out well beyond the breakers and now over his head, unable to make any headway in the current.
