The Surf City Volunteer Co. No. 1 and EMS is collecting emergency supplies for western North Carolina, where Hurricane Helene left communities decimated after making landfall in Florida late last month.
Volunteers will be collecting supplies from noon to 7 p.m., Oct. 4 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 5 and 6, or until the container is full.
