To the Editor:
I’d like to ask that those who own swimming pools or are putting in a new pool to consider those of us who are at lower elevations. Our block in Long Beach Township was dotted with puddles this spring. Nearby blocks were so soaked I had to take my sneakers off and carry my son over the water one evening. I was told by the township we were in pool draining season.
Now in June. the crusty slime water is back because a neighbor is putting in a new pool.
