Spotted an American oystercatcher around Barnegat Bay? Conserve Wildlife Foundation wants to know all about it. The organization’s new online Oystercatcher Tracker was created to allow residents to document sightings of this species throughout our area’s marshes to compile approximate locations and numbers.

“Every report helps us better understand oystercatcher distribution and habitat use across the region,” said CWF Wildlife Biologist Emmy Casper.
