To the Editor:
I realized the other day that I knew very little about the wonderful Democratic candidate for governor, Mikie Sherrill. I refer to her as wonderful because she has been a good American citizen: a graduate of Annapolis, a Navy helicopter pilot, a politician, and a mother with a young family.
Beyond that I had not seen the positive statements from her directly or from her campaign because unfortunately over the past years, I guess I haven’t liked the statements from Gov. Murphy.
