A coalition representing nearly a million constituents of the New Jersey Legislature is pushing back against Gov. Phil Murphy’s call to codify his energy master plan, which includes electrification of all heating and cooling, banning the sale of gas-powered vehicles, and relying heavily on offshore wind and solar to meet needs by 2035.

The Jersey Strong Coastal Coalition is comprised of more than 70 municipal and county officials, along with citizen groups.
