To the Editor:

Dear hypocrite: Do you envision yourself a constitutional originalist? Think again, we have changed the document 27 times. Rather, try to envision yourself a Ten Commandments originalist, a proponent of God’s laws. We received them around 1,500 B.C. The first five are our commitment to God and the second five our obligation to one another, as neighbors. “Taking God’s name in vain” is equivalent to “presuming God’s authority.”

Dear hypocrite: God’s laws need no interpretation.
