Chatting in his dining roomas he would with any friend, West Creek resident Dennis Seeley spoke about how dirt track racing has defined nearly the last decade of his life: a life which has also featured cancer, Superstorm Sandy, divorce, marriage and more.

Seeley has been racing since 2006. He had divorced a few years earlier, in 2003. He moved into his parents’ house, an Eagleswood property that dates back to the year before the Civil War ended. Here, he became a bit secluded.
