Since last season, Cade Johnson and the rest of the seniors on Southern Regional’s boys lacrosse team had been looking forward to Monday, March 30, since they lost against a powerful Montgomery squad in the 2019 state tournament. This spring, they were supposed to lead the team to perhaps its best season ever.
“This was going to be a big season for us,” he said. “The first day of practice was great. There was so much energy on the team.
