I want to commend The SandPaper for publishing the letters by Jennifer Perez and Mary Palmer in the Sept. 16 edition. And I want to commend Ms. Perez and Ms. Palmer for recognizing that this is not an ordinary summer and fall but a time when we are all called on to do our duty for our country.
