Comic Colin Quinn was scheduled to perform at the Stafford Township Arts Center on Oct. 10 as part of its “Saturdays in Stafford” series. Well, he will still perform at the STAC on a Saturday evening, but it won’t be until next year.

The date change was announced on Oct. 8.

“The Stafford Township Arts Center announces that the scheduled performance of comedian Colin Quinn has been postponed due to scheduling issues beyond the Center’s control.

“The performance has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 3, 2027. …

“All tickets will automatically transfer to the new performance date, and ticket holders will retain their originally assigned seats. No action is required.

“STAC apologizes for any inconvenience this change may cause. Colin Quinn and the Stafford Township Arts Center appreciate the patience, understanding, and continued support of all ticket holders.

“For questions or assistance regarding tickets, please contact the STAC box office.”

The final show of the Saturdays in Stafford series is still on. A tribute band will perform the music of Bruce Springsteen in a show titled “Bruce in the USA” at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. Tickets range from $31.95 to $52.95. They may be purchased online at stacnj.com.

Matt Ryan has played the Boss since 2000, when he played the Springsteen character in the famous “Legends In Concert” cast in Las Vegas. In 2004 he joined forces with a powerhouse band of professional musicians to form the “Bruce in the USA” show. He’s toured around the worlds as Bruce since then.

Ryan’s E Street Band has six other members, including Matthew Sullivan, who does a good job mimicking Miami Steve, and Darryl Jones, who takes on the role of The Big Man.

You’ll hear many Springsteen songs on Oct. 17, but you won’t hear any politics.

“We respect Bruce’s views and the stories in his songs, but as a tribute band our focus is on re-creating the live concert experience – the sound, the energy, and the connection in the room,” said Ryan. “You’ll hear the anthems, the deep cuts, the sing-alongs, but you won’t hear political speeches from us. Just rock ’n’ roll and a night out with fellow fans.”
