Christa Steiner, the current Miss Connecticut who recently competed in the Miss America Pageant in West Palm Beach, Fla., does indeed live in the Nutmeg State.
However, Steiner was born and raised in Southern Ocean County, in Beach Haven to be exact. She’s the daughter of Steve Steiner and Gail Anderson, the longtime producing artistic director and associate artistic director of Surflight Theatre. Christa’s long journey toward the Miss America Pageant began in New Jersey.
