November is here, and with it Thanksgiving. The clocks have been turned back and temperatures are dropping. Autumn is a time of gathering and abundance. The harvest comes into the storehouse. The cycle continues, from spring planting and growth to summer sun and nourishing to the late fall maturing of the seasons.
The Island changes are evident as well, with nor’easters, earlier sunsets over the bay, colder ocean and bay temperatures and fishing season in full swing.
