To the Editor:
I write to appeal to L. Ganss concerning the recent cartoon criticizing Save LBI’s opposition to the close-to-shore positioning of the proposed wind turbine project. I take no issue with the poking of fun at SaveLBI.org – the cartoonist has that right and it may have an unintended “Streisand Effect” and raise Save LBI’s profile. But I would ask Ms. Ganss to reconsider two errors that crept into her cartoon.
1. SaveLBI is not opposed to green energy or ocean wind projects.
