The N.J. Department of Environmental Protection is expected to render a decision on the Coastal Area Facilities Review Act permit application for the site of the now-closed LBI Grade School in Ship Bottom this month.
Caryn Shinske, a spokesperson for the state agency, said last week the permit application is currently under review and the decision deadline is Oct. 14.
