For the past six months, Bridget Green hasn’t sailed in a competitive regatta. She still has kept up with her training, though.
“Sailing is a hard thing to be committed to and not many girls stick with it,” said the 17-year-old sailer from Surf City Yacht Club. “But I love it so much and I have to do it. That’s why I’ve spent three days a week training with a bunch of guys at Ocean Gate Yacht Basin through the summer. I’m doing my best to keep up with my skills, but I really just enjoy doing it.
