Drive down Long Beach Boulevard in Brant Beach this weekend, and notice the endless line of boat trailers. The sight would make it hard to believe it’s October – and post-Chowderfest. The area will be bumpin’ for the Optimist Atlantic Coast Championships at Brant Beach Yacht Club.
There are 240 boats ready to race, and Regatta Chairman Dave Coward anticipates that the number could jump by at least10 more between now and the regatta’s start.
