Democrat Maxine Blumenthal and Republican Fredric G. Rubenstein are running for one three-year term on the Barnegat Township Committee. Deputy Mayor Albert Bille declined to run for a sixth term.

A 24-year resident of Barnegat Township and an active community leader, Blumenthal emphasizes the importance of listening to and addressing residents’ concerns. She encourages all eligible voters to participate in the upcoming election.
“There is no way I could allow that slot for a Democratic candidate to remain vacant on Election Day,” she said.
