To the Editor:
Barnegat has added over 34 new businesses in the last 22 months, from a bakery to ice cream shop to hair salons to fast food to sit-down restaurants and more. The old saying that Barnegat is not business friendly is no longer true.
But unfortunately the township does not select what store or business opens in our town. Yes, we would love another supermarket, Trader Joe’s, steak restaurant, etc., but that is a decision for corporate executives. (We are working on a steakhouse.)
