To the Editor:
As everyone remembers, Friday, April 30, was a very windy day. That night, after dinner, as Mom (who turned 100 on March 15 and is now on oxygen) and I were watching TV, we noticed the lights were flickering, the TV became frozen and the AC/heating units started beeping.
After calls to Atlantic City Electric and Comcast to find no outages reported, I then called the Surf City Police Department to see if they had heard about any outages in my area.
