Residents in the Pinewood Estates mobile home community in Barnegat Township are breathing a sigh of relief as a proposed monthly rent increase of $150 has been scrapped.

Instead, a $47 increase will go into effect beginning in January, according to an agreement reached between the township rent leveling board and RHP Properties last week.
