One of the most consistent hitters on the Barnegat High School varsity baseball team will be taking his talents to North Jersey as Jared Kacso has committed to New Jersey Institute of Technology.
The senior right-handed hitter has been the regular third baseman since his sophomore year, when he batted .333 with five doubles, a triple and three home runs. He helped lead the Bengals to the South Jersey NJSIAA Group 2 championship game, whichresulted ina 1-0 loss to Buena.
