The Barnegat Light Taxpayers Association and concerned residents have formed an advisory committee to address the restoration and maintenance of vegetation along the boardwalk pathways that lead to the beaches. The group released a 58-page report last month that outlines the issues and proposed solutions.

Back in the fall public works conducted “brush hogging” or rough mowing along the walkways that destroyed native vegetation.
