At its meeting Monday, Sept. 8, the Beach Haven Borough Council adopted a bond ordinance to fund more money for various repairs and renovations to the Beach Haven Emergency Operations Center, located in the old Coast Guard station on Pelham Avenue.
According to Borough Manager Sherry Mason, the ordinance adds $1.6 million for the project, bringing the total cost to $7.2 million.
