The New Jersey Coastal Alliance believes two bipartisan Jersey Shore congressmen fighting over federal cuts to beach replenishment are missing the overall big picture and impact the historic method of restoring the coastline has on beachgoers.
“Both demand more sand be piled on our beaches by the Army Corps and will do anything to see that happen,” Ross Kushner, NJCA coordinator, said of Congressmen Jeff Van Drew (R-N.J. 2nd Dist.) and Congressman Frank Pallone (D-N.J. 6th Dist.)
