Atlantic City Electric has delayed activation of the lithium battery energy storage system (BESS), which the utility had scheduled to go online in Beach Haven on Aug. 15.
“Atlantic City Electric is in the final stages of preparing the Battery Energy Storage System for service, which includes completing standard industry testing and securing all necessary certifications,” said Brian Ahrens, ACE senior communications specialist.
